1. Data Protection at a Glance

General information

The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website consileon.ch. It complies with the requirements of the Swiss Data Protection Act and - where applicable - the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Detailed information on the subject of data protection can be found in our data protection declaration listed below this text.

The protection of your privacy is very important to us. For this reason, we have taken technical and organizational measures to ensure that the data protection regulations are observed by us as well as by our partners and external service providers. However, we would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet may be subject to security vulnerabilities and that complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Data collection on our website

In the following, we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail address, etc.

On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may, for example, be data that you enter in a contact form. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

The controller within the meaning of the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the Telemedia Act and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as other data protection regulations is:

Consileon (Switzerland) GmbH

2. General Notes and Mandatory Information

General information on data processing

We collect and use our users' personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. The collection and use of our users' personal data only takes place regularly with the user's consent. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law.

Your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Data may also be stored if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws or other provisions to which our company is subject. The data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.

Collection of general information, provision of the website

If you only use our website for information purposes, i.e. if you do not provide us with information separately, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (so-called server log files) includes

  • IP address of the requesting computer
  • Date and time of access
  • the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your access provider
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Notification of successful retrieval

This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the website content requested by you and is mandatory when using the Internet. It is also required to ensure the stability and security of our website. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user, nor is it analyzed for marketing purposes in this context.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended. If the data is stored in log files, this is the case after 3 months at the latest. Storage beyond this period is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or anonymized so that it is no longer possible to identify the accessing client.

Use of cookies

In addition to the aforementioned data, we, like many other websites, use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk assigned to the browser you are using and through which certain information flows to us. These cookies contain a characteristic string of characters that enables the browser to be uniquely identified when the website is called up again. Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transfer viruses to a computer. The transient cookies we use (so-called session cookies) enable us to make our website more user-friendly.

Session cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. Session cookies store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the shared session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to our website.

Under no circumstances will the data collected by us be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent. Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies. You can deactivate the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please use the help functions of your Internet browser to find out how to change these settings. We would like to point out that you may not be able to use individual functions of our website if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

Deletion or blocking of the data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as provided for by the various storage periods stipulated by law. Once the respective purpose no longer applies or these periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

3. SSL or TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

4. Contacting us

Contact via e-mail

It is possible to contact us via the e-mail addresses provided. In this case, the personal data transmitted by you with the e-mail will be stored. Your data may be forwarded by us to Consileon Business Consultancy GmbH (DE) or other group companies in Germany for processing.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected. For personal data sent by email, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation is ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified. The additional personal data collected during the sending process will be deleted after a period of seven days at the latest.

You have the option of withdrawing your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. The withdrawal of consent and the objection can be declared via the contact options specified in this privacy policy. All personal data stored in the course of contacting us will be deleted in this case.

Contact via contact form

For questions of any kind, we also offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website. It is necessary to provide your name and a valid e-mail address so that we know who sent the request and can answer it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.

The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your request has been dealt with.
